L-OO #7 build ....3 coats lacquer. Dang... and had to stop to deal with orders for shop work that PAYS!
I might get done with this one in a month or so. However, since we just started building our new home (wife and I ) from the foundation up....yes ...just us, it is possible this guitar might not get done until Christmas.
I hope the guitar sounds as nice as this set of Koa looks. bloodwood binding.
Top is Sitka...but didn't include pictures.
I'll get some pro pictures posted of the finished product when she gets strung up.

The neck carvings are a nice touch.
I like the Bloodwood bindings.
I hope ya get her done .
Building a house is time consuming.

The hand carving on that heel is absolutely gorgeous, and the bloodwood bindings really set it off. I really like Padauk binding on guitars because of the red/orange flash they give, but the sawdust is a mess, and I have several shirts that have permanent red stains on the front of them. I think I might try some bloodwood next time. It came out really striking and red on your guitar, where Padauk comes out kinda flat sometimes. Great build.
